🇺🇸 Kansas City | Toys & Miniatures Museum (Home Collection Edition)
Sharing more from my recent trip— The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures 🧸🔍 The story behind this museum is so charming 😊 It was founded by two passionate grandmothers: One loved collecting toys, dolls, and dollhouses 🪆 The other was obsessed with tiny miniatures and models 🏡 Eventually, they ran out of space at home 🏠 So they decided to join forces and find a place to bring all their treasures together Over time, it grew into a full museum 🏛️ The collection kept expanding, and after several renovations, it became what it is today! According to the museum info, it now holds: ✅ Over 21,000 miniatures ✅ More than 51,000 toys It’s a true heaven for collectors and nostalgia lovers! 😍🎉 The photos show just a part of the home interior miniatures Absolutely stunning! ❤️🔔 You can trace the evolution of American home decor and see how styles varied by region and social class Each piece deserves close looking—they even provide magnifiers! 🔍 The details are seriously incredible ‼️ 🕙 Opening Hours: Open daily 10 AM–4 PM Closed on Tuesdays ❌ There’s a gift shop at the exit, but it’s fairly small 🛍️ #KansasCity #ToysAndMiniatures #MuseumLovers #MiniatureArt #TravelDiary #Nostalgia
