🇺🇸 Kansas City 3-Day 2-Night Leisure Trip 🏸

One of the highlights of this trip was the hotel — great value and a prime location! Many people think Kansas City doesn’t have much to offer, but if it’s your first time and you’re here for a relaxed city walk, you’ll have a comfortable and enjoyable time. The city is clean, tidy, and feels very safe. 🏨 The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center Compared to Marriott lounges in China, the ones in North America are pretty basic — but this Westin’s is decent. Open 24 hours, with plenty of snacks in the afternoon and a good variety of juices and drinks. Breakfast options are limited but quality is good, and the staff are friendly. The lounge is conveniently located on the left right after you enter the lobby. We got a complimentary room upgrade with a great view overlooking the square — the night scenery 🌃 is beautiful! The room is spacious but a bit dated. Still, for the price, it’s an unbeatable value. Highly recommend! 🍖 BBQ Recommendation: Arthur Bryant's Barbeque You can’t visit Kansas City without trying BBQ! We went to this century-old restaurant — it was packed, and we waited about 20 minutes. Took our order back to the hotel. Personally loved the Burnt Ends. The pork ribs were generous and tasty. Enjoying the meat with a drink while taking in the night view from the room was pure bliss! 🌆 Attractions Union Station is right across from the hotel. We also visited the famous museum and saw the Guanyin statue. If you want to explore deeply, you could easily spend another 1-2 days here. Since we were here for relaxation, we spent time resting, working out at the hotel gym, and shopping at Crown Center downstairs. The WWI Memorial is just a 10-15 minute walk away — great for learning about history, both for adults and kids. 🚘✈️ Travel Tip: If you travel often, consider getting the Marriott Boundless card — annual fee is only $95, and you get 3 free nights + 50k points after spending $6k. Plus, you get a free night award every year. It easily pays for itself!
