๐บ๐ธ Kill Bill Vol. 2 Filming Location โ The Chapel Scene โ๏ธ๐ช
๐ 19809 E Ave G, Lancaster, CA 93535, USA A couple of years ago, I took a detour from LA to visit this iconic chapel from Kill Bill Vol. 2 ๐ฌ๐. I drove 7 hours east from Silicon Valleyโunder the unforgiving California sun that nearly roasted my skin! โ๏ธ๐ฅ The area felt like classic American West: remote, quiet, and mysterious. I still wonder how Quentin Tarantino discovered this spot! The chapel doors were locked, but I called the visitor number. Ten minutes later, a sweet elderly couple arrived to let us inโthe white-bearded grandpa apologized for the wait. Two other fans from Las Vegas showed up too, making it a little pilgrim group! ๐๐จ Surprisingly, the caretaker shared that Kill Bill wasnโt the first film shot here. Inside, thereโs a guestbook where fans from around the world leave messagesโI signed my name too! ๐โ๏ธ The grandpa kindly shared stories about the chapel and the film, then took a group photo for us at the entrance. ๐ธโค๏ธ Despite its brutal role in the movie, the chapel has a stark, haunting beauty. Even the weathered walls tell a story. I thought: How cool would it be to shoot wedding photos here if love ever strikes? ๐๐ As a huge Tarantino fan, Kill Bill remains one of my all-time favorites. To me, itโs a deeply meaningful love storyโI notice something new every time I watch it. Maybe thatโs why itโs left such a mark on me.
