🇺🇸 Korean Double Noodle Bowls in LA’s Ktown

Headed to Ktown with friends for some classic Korean-style jjajangmyeon! Jjamppong Zizon is a well-known chain for Korean-Chinese fusion, and whenever we crave those black bean noodles, this is our go-to spot. A huge bowl is only $8.99 — just like in the K-dramas! 👇 What We Ordered 👇 🌟 Jjajangmyeon Don’t let the dark color fool you—it’s packed with zucchini, pork, onions, and rich chunjang sauce 🧅. Their sauce is thick, savory-sweet, and perfectly balanced. The noodles are springy and chewy, and pairing it with yellow pickled radish is a game-changer! 🌟 Sweet & Sour Pork (Tangsuyuk) Can’t have jjajang without tangsuyuk! It’s like crispy fried pork served with sweet-and-sour sauce on the side—similar to Chinese “guo bao rou.” The meat is tender inside, crunchy outside, and the sauce comes with big pineapple chunks 🍍 for a refreshing touch. We got a small size but still couldn’t finish it! 🌟 Combo Noodles (Jjajang + Jjamppong) Half black bean noodles, half spicy seafood noodle soup 🌶️🍜—perfect for sharing! The seafood broth is lightly spicy and filled with clam meat, super fragrant and satisfying. 🌟 Other Mains We also tried crab fried rice (decent, loaded with imitation crab sticks) and pan-fried dumplings 🥟 (crispy on the outside, juicy inside—best eaten hot!). 🏠 Jjamppong Zizon 📍 3446 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010 #LAfood #LAexplore #KtownLA #KtownEats #LAfoodguide #LAeats #KoreanChineseFood
