🇺🇸 LA | An Immersive Visit to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures
The museum is incredibly rich in content—check out the floor-by-floor guide in the photo! 🏛️✨ During my visit, there was also a special “Jaws” guided tour (since 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the film) 🦈🎬. Another standout was the Bong Joon-ho special exhibition, which took up an entire floor. One wall displayed his original storyboard sketches, while screens nearby showed clips from his iconic films—illustrating how those hand-drawn panels transformed into cinematic moments. Seeing how a director pre-plans character dynamics, camera movements, and shot sequencing felt truly fascinating 🎥🖋️. Don’t miss walking across the Barbra Streisand Bridge to the rooftop observatory. The panoramic view of Los Angeles bathed in sunlight is absolutely breathtaking 🌇❤️. Halfway through, I grabbed a bite at Fanny’s on the first floor. They offer a $35 set menu—I added a drink, and with tip, it came to about $50. A nice refuel spot during a long museum day! 🍽️💬 #ExploreMuseums #CityExhibitions #SoloMuseumTrip #FilmPilgrimage #AcademyMuseum #LATravel
