🇺🇸 LA | First Impressions of Sheraton Grand Los Angeles
Wanted to stay in downtown LA, so we chose this Sheraton. The hotel is a bit older—built in 2005 and renovated in 2016. 🏨 The location is great—surrounded by skyscrapers, very lively, with supermarkets nearby, super convenient. 🏙️🍃 Before checking in, we tried to park and found the hotel’s own carpark charged over 60! The private lot next door was 44. But after checking Xiaohongshu, we found a tip to park at Joe’s Autopark across the street for just $24—we went for it right away! As Tesla owners, it was even better—they had plenty of charging spots. 🚗⚡ Thanks, Xiaohongshu! The hotel lobby is quite grand and looks pretty new. ✨ We three picked a double room. I noticed that during check-in in the US, only one person’s passport info is needed—they don’t really check how many people are staying. 😅 Our room was on a high floor with a decent view. Both beds were large enough to comfortably sleep four people. The mattresses were soft and super comfy too~ 🛏️💤 Everything was quite clean, and each floor has an ice maker. ❄️ At check-in, we got a $15 dining voucher to use on drinks or snacks downstairs. They also gave us two tickets to the Grammy Museum (we didn’t end up going). 🎫 Breakfast was à la carte—your classic American breakfast 🍳, pretty standard. We paid 265 for the room, plus a 40 destination fee. Have you ever found a great parking hack thanks to social media? What’s your favorite downtown LA hotel?
