🇺🇸 LA Food Review | Second Visit to Persian Restaurant Shamshiri 🍖

This time I ordered the Lamb Shank to make up for missing it on my first visit! The portion was huge—two big lamb shanks plus a massive plate of rice—enough for three meals for one person! 🍚🔥 One bite and I was in heaven: the perfect mix of fat, lean meat, and tendon—so flavorful, yet the natural sweetness of the lamb still shone through without any gaminess. It was slow-cooked until incredibly tender, falling right off the bone. The sauce was rich and deeply satisfying—honestly, the best lamb I’ve had in years across so many countries. Life is good… 😌💫 Even better when paired with the fresh, sweet raw onions they serve as an appetizer! The yogurt was tangy and refreshing 🥒 And the grilled chicken—even without butter (as requested)—was still super juicy and delicious! 🍗🔥 What’s the most memorable lamb dish you’ve ever tried? 🍖✨ Or do you have a favorite Persian or Middle Eastern restaurant?
