๐บ๐ธ Little Rock & Hot Springs, AR ๐ชจ | 3-Month Internship Recap! ๐
Finallyโmy 3-month internship in Arkansas is over! ๐ฅณ๐ Here are some food and fun spots I recommend: ๐๏ธ Little Rock We mostly hung out in North and West Little Rock. Honestly, downtown isnโt super exciting, but the Arkansas State Capitol Building looks grand at night! ๐ If youโre visiting, make a trip to Hot Springs National Park โ itโs only about 50 minutes away by car ๐๐. ๐ North Little Rock (where I lived + worked): Big Dam Bridge ๐๏ธ โ Great for walks with nice views! Relatively safe and quiet. ๐ West Little Rock (safest area!): Has Costco, Trader Joeโs, a shopping mall ๐๐๏ธ, and most of the Chinese restaurants! Very convenient for daily life. ๐ Food & Drinks โ Our Faves! Chinese: Chiโs (authentic Chinese menu), A.W. Linโs (very traditional), Red Bowl Noodle & Dim Sum (great portions!) ๐ฅข๐ฒ Fried Chicken: BBQ Chicken & World Famous Chicken ๐๐ฅ Bubble Tea: Chacha โ lots of options! ๐งโจ โจ๏ธ Hot Springs โ Perfect for a Day Trip! The downtown area looks a bit rough at first glance ๐๏ธโฆ but the architecture is charming, and the tree-lined streets are beautiful โ super photogenic! ๐ธ๐ณ Bathhouse Row Museum ๐งผ: Free entry! Worth a quick look. Ohio Club ๐: A historic bar โ skip the salad, but the burgers are classic American! Garvan Woodland Gardens ๐ท: Beautiful botanical garden with structures designed by Fay Jones โ donโt miss the Verna C. Garvan Pavilion and Anthony Chapel! โช๐ (Note: We couldnโt go inside due to a private event, and the treehouse requires a separate ticket!) It was still super hot ๐ฅต even in early fall โ we drove up to the viewpoint but didnโt stay long. The view was just okay. For better scenery, try Magazine Mountain if you have time ๐๏ธ. Spent a full and happy weekend with friends โ energy fully recharged! ๐โค๏ธ Happy weekend, everyone! ๐ #LittleRock #Arkansas #HotSprings #WeekendVibes #EatPlayExplore #TravelArkansas
