🇺🇸 Little Rock & Hot Springs, AR 🪨 | 3-Month Internship Recap! 🎉

Finally—my 3-month internship in Arkansas is over! 🥳🎊 Here are some food and fun spots I recommend: 🏛️ Little Rock We mostly hung out in North and West Little Rock. Honestly, downtown isn’t super exciting, but the Arkansas State Capitol Building looks grand at night! 🌃 If you’re visiting, make a trip to Hot Springs National Park — it’s only about 50 minutes away by car 🚗🍃. 📍 North Little Rock (where I lived + worked): Big Dam Bridge 🏞️ – Great for walks with nice views! Relatively safe and quiet. 📍 West Little Rock (safest area!): Has Costco, Trader Joe’s, a shopping mall 🛒🛍️, and most of the Chinese restaurants! Very convenient for daily life. 🍜 Food & Drinks – Our Faves! Chinese: Chi’s (authentic Chinese menu), A.W. Lin’s (very traditional), Red Bowl Noodle & Dim Sum (great portions!) 🥢🍲 Fried Chicken: BBQ Chicken & World Famous Chicken 🍗🔥 Bubble Tea: Chacha – lots of options! 🧋✨ ♨️ Hot Springs – Perfect for a Day Trip! The downtown area looks a bit rough at first glance 🏚️… but the architecture is charming, and the tree-lined streets are beautiful — super photogenic! 📸🌳 Bathhouse Row Museum 🧼: Free entry! Worth a quick look. Ohio Club 🍔: A historic bar — skip the salad, but the burgers are classic American! Garvan Woodland Gardens 🌷: Beautiful botanical garden with structures designed by Fay Jones — don’t miss the Verna C. Garvan Pavilion and Anthony Chapel! ⛪💚 (Note: We couldn’t go inside due to a private event, and the treehouse requires a separate ticket!) It was still super hot 🥵 even in early fall — we drove up to the viewpoint but didn’t stay long. The view was just okay. For better scenery, try Magazine Mountain if you have time 🏔️.
