🇺🇸 Los Angeles|Long Beach Whale Watching ❌ Dolphins ✅ Guide
📍 100 Aquarium Way Dock #2, Long Beach 1️⃣ Search "Long Beach whale watching" on Google Maps. I booked with Harbor Breeze Cruises 🐋 — check their website for tickets. Prices range from $35-$55 (weekends are a bit more expensive). You can also buy tickets on-site, but online is cheaper! I chose the 12 PM tour ⛵; there’s also a 3 PM slot. Currently, only these two times are available. 2️⃣ Wear a warm jacket! It gets chilly on the ocean 🌊🧥. If you’re prone to headaches, bring a hat too. 3️⃣ 🅿️ We parked to the left of the aquarium near a row of restaurants 🍴, across from the Ferris wheel 🎡. This lot is very close to the check-in dock. We paid $11 for 3+ hours. 4️⃣ They’ll email you to arrive 1 hour early — but if you’re familiar with the area and a confident driver, 30-40 minutes ahead is plenty ⏳. The boat doesn’t always leave exactly on time. 5️⃣ After parking, go to Dock 2 to check in and get your physical ticket 🎫, then board at Dock 3. 6️⃣ We didn’t see whales this time, but we saw plenty of dolphins! 🐬 They leaped out of the water and swam alongside the boat 🚤. The crew said it’s rare, but I think chances are pretty good — especially on sunny days ☀️. 📌 Pro Tips: If you get motion sick easily, take seasickness medicine 💊. I didn’t, but I have a strong stomach. Eat a light snack before boarding (I had bread 🥖 and milk 🥛 around 9 AM) — enough to settle your stomach but not too heavy. Sit facing forward — backward seating can increase motion sickness. #WhaleWatching #BoatTour #LongBeach #DolphinSighting #LATravel #CaliforniaCoast #SeaAdventure
