📍 Nuo Mochi (Monterey Park, CA) This mochi shop just opened yesterday — its first day! Heard they started as a food truck and finally have their own store now 🚚➡️🏪 Every mochi here is made fresh on the spot, so there might be a bit of a wait — but totally worth it! ⏳✨ I personally ordered five — each one was stuffed to the max and not overly sweet at all! Even after refrigerating overnight (thaw for ~10 mins before eating), the mochi skin stayed perfectly soft and chewy — no texture change! ❄️👌 My favorite was the seasonal fruit cream cheese flavor — so layered and delicious 🍓🧀 This season’s special is strawberry — a perfect balance of sweet and tangy with that super mochi texture 💯💯 Honestly, one mochi is enough to fill you up (they’re pretty big!).
