We went to the Koreatown location — probably one of LA’s most popular Korean restaurants. After we got home, I saw on Xiaohongshu that someone spotted Daniel Wu there at lunch the same day! We went in the evening, and apparently David Tao also ate here after his concert the night before… yet we saw no one 😅. 🙂 Braised Beef Short Ribs with Oxtail Forgot if we ordered medium or large — it was okay, visually impressive though. Spice level? Also forgot 🤷‍♀️. Overall on the sweet side, decent but not mind-blowing. We got purple + black rice — that was delicious! ❤️ Beef Brisket & Dried Napa Cabbage Soup This one was great! The beef was tender, perfect as a comforting “hangover soup.” The food felt pretty standard — not bad, but not amazing either. We waited about 20 minutes in line. It’s fine to try, but not a must-visit. Now about the parking situation — be careful! My friend parked in their lot, we parked in the one to the right (both paid). After eating, we went to sing karaoke for a bit. When she tried to leave, the parking attendant said she had to pay an extra $20 because she “left and came back” 😳. Our lot seemed unattended — not sure if they missed us or just weren’t there, but a lot of Ktown plazas seem to have vague rules or hidden charges… kind of feels like a trap sometimes. #StudentEats #FoodAdventures #CravingHomeFood #LAEats #LATravel #MissingHomeFood
