🇺🇸 Maine｜Live｜Exploring the Gorgeous Town of Bar Harbor 🏞️✨

Looking for a summer getaway on the East Coast besides Niagara Falls? 🚗💨 Driving up the coast to Maine is one of the most popular trips! Last time I took you hiking and exploring in Acadia 🥾🌊, and this time I’m bringing you all the chill, foodie, and fun vibes in the dreamy town of Bar Harbor! 🏨 Stayed at Harborside Hotel & Marina in downtown Bar Harbor — just a 10-minute drive to Acadia National Park. The location is perfect, and the hotel itself is so photogenic I couldn’t stop taking pictures! 📸 🐚 Sandbar Tide Pooling Check low tide times online 📲. Two hours before and after low tide, you can walk from Bar Harbor’s sandbar all the way to Bar Island 🏝️. Along the coast, you’ll find seashells, corals, crabs, and even starfish! It’s allowed to collect and take some home. ⚠️ Just make sure to head back before the tide rises… or you’ll have to swim back! 🏊‍♂️😅 🚢 Join a whale & dolphin watching tour 🐳🐬 — you might even see puffins! ☀️ Definitely choose a sunny day, or rough waves might have you feeling seasick real quick 🌊😵 ⛵️ Hop on a lobster boat tour to see how lobsters are caught 🦞, or rent a private yacht for cruising, fishing, and sunset watching! After learning from the lobster fishermen, you’ll head to Egg Rock to spot seals 🦭. Personally, I found the lobster tour even more fun than whale watching! 🫐 Maine is famous for its wild blueberries! You’ll find blueberry-themed treats everywhere — ice cream, smoothies, pancakes, cakes… my favorite is the blueberry soda! 🤞 Hoping Trader Joe’s adds a blueberry flavor to their sparkling drink lineup someday! 🦞 I’ve been eating lobster almost every meal here — tried pretty much all the spots downtown. Stewman's Lobster Pound has classic American flavor with an unbeatable location right by Frenchman Bay — great views! 🌊 But for the freshest, highest-quality lobster, Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound is worth the short drive 🚗💨. Sometimes in Bar Harbor, doing nothing is everything.
