Spent Labor Day weekend on a spontaneous day trip to Southern Maine with the little ones! Hereβs our fun-filled itinerary: π Morning: Drove from Boston to Ogunquit Beach ποΈ (one of our favorite spots!). π‘ Pro tip: Check tide charts online before going β we didnβt and caught high tide π , but the kids still had a blast playing near the rocks! π¦ Lunch: Grabbed lobster rolls and fried chicken from a beachside shack β eating with ocean views = perfection! ππ Also love Food for Thoughts restaurant in Ogunquit β highly recommend! ποΈ Afternoon: Headed to Portland Head Lighthouse πΌπ The lighthouse against the blue sky was breathtaking! πΈ Photo hack: Walk past the roundabout, turn right, then look back for the best angle β perfect grassy + ocean backdrop! π΄ Snack Break: Food trucks near the lighthouse are a must-try: Bite Into Maine (lobster rolls!) π¦ Cousins Maine Lobster π₯ͺ Gorgeous Gelato π¦ Maine lobster = fresh & delicious! π π Evening Highlight: Stopped at Old Orchard Beach on the way back β caught low tide!
