🇺🇸 Miami Food Find | Unique Portuguese Cuisine at Old Lisbon
📍 Old Lisbon Restaurants - South Miami (they have multiple locations throughout the city!) The vibe inside is so authentically Portuguese—from the traditional decor to the friendly staff, it truly feels like a cozy eatery in Lisbon itself. We even spotted a few birthday celebrations happening during our visit—such a joyful atmosphere! 🎉 Seafood-focused menu here! We ordered: 🦐 Shrimp Rice Stew (the shrimp were huge, fresh, and so flavorful—each bite was a taste of the ocean!) 🐙 Grilled Octopus (tender and packed with garlicky goodness, definitely a must-try!) 🍴 Baked Clams (pretty good, but not the star of the show—still worth a try if you love seafood!) 🧄 The complimentary bread served with garlic butter was absolutely delicious—warm, soft, and perfectly seasoned! 🥧 The egg tarts had a crispy, flaky crust, though the filling was a bit sweeter than traditional custard. Still, they were a delightful treat! They have an open kitchen—we sat at the bar and had a blast watching the chefs expertly prepare each dish! 👀 There’s also a cute little wine cellar with plenty of options, from rich reds to crisp whites. Almost every table had a glass in hand—it’s the perfect pairing for the hearty Portuguese flavors! 🍷 Have you been to Old Lisbon? What’s your go-to Portuguese dish?
