I have to say that the food was great but the service was extremely slow. I made an early reservation for dinner 5pm. I was hoping to be finishing my dinner by 6:30pm. We were only two people and we only ordered one appetizer, one entree, a glass of wine and sangria. We received our appetizer 6pm. We we arrived there were two families finishing there meals. And there were two small groups inside one couple and 3 people at the other table. The staff appeared to be setting up the tables for dinner. The staff was friendly but it doesn't take 3 hours to have 2 items. Our entree arrived at 7:07 pm. Our waitress had disappeared. She was nice but she never introduced herself. She never checked on us until after we chased down our entree.
So while the food was tasty I personally will not return. I am a travel professional. So I do not have a choice I must eat out. Because of covid I go off peak. So before the normal dinner hour or after the normal lunch our. I live with a senior citizen. I know that this virus is real and while I want to support local businesses I expect a reasonable service. Three hours was too long and if I had any inclination that it would take so long I would have ordered my food and taken it back to my hotel and ate my meal at the pool.
We finished at 7:30 and we waited for the checked. By now people had come and gone at the tables on either side of me. The a person began smoking a cigar and I was done with waiting. I could have easily just walked out and I really don't think anyone would have noticed.
So I don't recommend this restaurant unless you're going for drinks because they do arrive quickly. If you are hungry this is not the restaurant for you. Honestly I am glad I wasn't hungry when I arrived because I probably would have been upset but I did start my day at 3:30am. So I was ready to eat and go. My friend was famished so I felt bad for her and I was ready for my entree by the...
Read moreWe had an incredible lunch experience at this charming Portuguese restaurant! The highlight of our meal was the seafood paella, which was a true masterpiece. The dish was brimming with fresh, flavorful seafood, including succulent shrimp, tender mussels, and perfectly cooked clams. Each bite was infused with a harmonious blend of saffron and spices, creating an authentic and unforgettable taste of Portugal.
The presentation was equally impressive, with the vibrant colors of the seafood and rice making the dish almost too beautiful to eat. The portion size was generous, perfect for sharing, and paired wonderfully with a crisp glass of vinho verde.
The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking to explore authentic Portuguese flavors, this is a must-visit spot. We can't wait to return and try more...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Old Lisbon Coral Way and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by our servers, Fátima and Pedro. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations.
The food at Old Lisbon Coral Way was truly outstanding. The chef clearly takes pride in their craft and every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. We tried a variety of dishes, from the classic bacalhau to the octopus salad, and each one was delicious.
The staff were also very efficient and kept our table clear of empty plates and glasses throughout the meal. Overall, the service was top-notch and really added to the overall dining experience.
