🇺🇸 Minnesota Food Adventure - Restaurant: Martina

Hey foodies! Just tried the hyped Argentine spot Martina and here’s my honest take with emojis, of course! 😉 🐙 Octopus The octopus was tender and flavorful with a hint of smokiness! 🔥 The end of the tentacle was slightly charred and bitter, but the potatoes underneath? ABSOLUTELY PERFECT—crispy outside, fluffy inside, and soaked in that delicious octopus juice and sauce. A must-try! 🥔💯 🐖 Pork Chop This pork chop had both lean and fatty parts. The fatty part was surprisingly rich but not greasy—and I usually skip fatty meat in braised pork! 🤯 The sweet and sour sauce balanced it well. The center was a bit undercooked for my taste, but the portion was huge—we couldn’t finish it! 🍖 🍝 Duck Ragu Pasta (New Dish) We tried the new duck ragu pasta, topped with something like “Chinese crispy noodles” (sanzi). Each strand of pasta was coated with crunchy bits and duck meat—texture heaven! 😋 The dish had great layers (though we wondered if it was mixed well enough). The creamy duck sauce at the bottom was rich, but honestly, the duck flavor was mild—it tasted like regular minced meat. The only downside? Cooked mint leaves 🍃—love it or hate it. Mint lovers, go for it! 🥩 Grilled Beef Tongue Bruschetta This one’s a hit! 👌 Tender, juicy beef tongue covered the bread generously, with a slightly charred aroma. The celery on top was the star—fresh and fragrant, balancing the rich meat. The salty meat and sauce paired perfectly with the bread. At $19, this felt worth it! 💰 💁 Service Experience Shoutout to our server Kai—super friendly and enthusiastic! 🙌 The bill didn’t auto-add tips, but we were so happy we voluntarily gave 20%. First time ever feeling this good about tipping! 😂 🅿️ Parking Located in a cozy neighborhood street with local shops. Street parking only—good luck with that! 🍀 💸 Price We spent $160 (including tips) for two. A bit pricey, but the experience was great—perfect for anniversaries or a cute date! 💑 Final Verdict: A memorable meal with bold flavors and warm service. Definitely recommend for special occasions! ❤️ #Minnesota #Martina #Foodie #ArgentinianCuisine #InternationalStudentLife #FoodReview #MinneapolisEats #MustTry #FoodPhotography
