๐บ๐ธ Moments & Memories in San Diego: A Casual Guide
San Diego is a city I return to every year โ a place filled with meaningful moments and a special attachment in my heart. ๐ This time, I stayed at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa ๐จ โ highly recommended! This historic estate turned hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I spent hours just reading and relaxing on the balcony โ pure bliss. Highlights from this trip ๐: ๐จ Museum of Contemporary Art: Sat for a long time in the little room overlooking the ocean, listening to the waves. Loved seeing works by Takashi Murakami, Yayoi Kusama, and Yoshitomo Nara. ๐ช Torrey Pines Gliderport: Drank piรฑa coladas ๐ while watching paragliders soar โ freedom felt tangible in that moment. ๐ Pacific Beach: Took a wrong turn and ended up here just in time for a breathtaking sunset. The colorful bubbles floating in the golden light felt surreal. ๐ฝ๏ธ The Marine Room: A fantastic sunset-view restaurant! If you go on a high tide day, youโre in for a magical experience. ๐พ Tennis at UCSD: Brought my racket and played under the pleasantly cool (but not too cold!) evening sky โ so much more comfortable than the Bay Area. ๐ธ Raised by Wolves: A charming speakeasy that once made the US Top 50 bars list. Perfect for creative cocktails. ๐๏ธ UTC Westfield: Strolled around and even met someone walking their pet pig ๐ท โ only in SD! The vibe here is next-level relaxed. ๐ฅ Food Picks: Comedor Nishi: A brunch spot in La Jolla by a former chef from Pujol (2-Michelin-star restaurant in Mexico City). So so so good โ must try! The Taco Stand: Their spicy shrimp tacos are unforgettable. ๐ฎ๐ฅ Already dreaming of my next trip back... #San Diego #SanDiegoDiaries #TravelSD #LaJolla #CaliforniaLife
