I’d heard the hype for a long time, and today I finally made the trip (with a friend roaring up in a V8 🚗💨) to try Ekiben! I visited their downtown location – super cozy space with fewer than 10 seats 🪑. It’s simply decorated like a fast-casual spot, with two tables even dedicated to standing eaters 😄. I cautiously ordered their famous Neighborhood Bird (Spicy) 🌶️. Then the staff asked: “Bun or rice?” I went with the steamed bun, while my friend chose rice. Verdict: Absolutely mind-blowing!
