A Day Trip to Baltimore
🎒✨Johns Hopkins University ✅ | The Baltimore Museum of Art ✅ | Blue Moon Cafe ✅ Inner Harbor ✅ | Last Pearl Harbor Survivor ✅ | Little Italy (from afar 👀) ✅ Power Plant ✅ | National Aquarium (at least the entrance! 👏✅) We arrived around 10 AM and left around 4 PM. After exploring the Inner Harbor, we thought about walking toward Penn Station since the road looked straight and easy… 🚶♀️🌆 But then—things got weird. We faintly heard what sounded like gunshots, followed by police sirens 🚨😳. The further we walked, the more uncomfortable we felt. There were more people loitering on the streets, and the atmosphere felt tense. While waiting at a crosswalk, a man about 5 meters away started waving both hands at us 👋🤚. I didn’t dare look directly or move—just stared straight ahead until the light turned green… then we literally launched across the street! 🚀💨 After another block, we couldn’t take it anymore. We ducked into a bank and called a ride to the station 🏦🚖. Later, we looked it up—turns out downtown Baltimore really is as rough as they say 🥲😅. Glad we stayed safe and opted for that Uber! #Baltimore #DayTrip #Maryland #TravelDiary #CityAdventures
