🇺🇸 Must-Try in Tampa: Deep Sea Fishing 🎣

If you’re visiting Tampa, you absolutely have to try deep sea fishing! Even with zero experience — it’s super beginner-friendly and almost everyone catches something ✌🏼 We booked with Double Eagle Deep Sea Fishing $67 per person for a 4-hour half-day trip. It left us wanting more… though any longer might’ve been tiring! Everything is provided: rods, bait, and basic instructions from the crew 🎣 If you’re prone to seasickness, take motion sickness meds beforehand (like CVS brand — works great!) After fishing, the crew cleans your catch for just a few cents per fish — bring cash! 💵 They’ll even toss the fish heads to the pelicans… so cute watching them line up for snacks 🐦 We took our fish to a dockside restaurant and had them made into tacos — so yummy 😋 You can also bring yours to a Chinese restaurant for boiled fish! Our group of three caught around 15 fish — plenty for a meal! 📌 Tips & Reminders: Wear sunscreen! It gets sunny just sitting out there ☀️ Bring a jacket — weather by the water changes fast 🧥 Pack tissues! The thawing squid bait can get messy 🦑 Arrive early — parking near the pier fills up fast!
