Tampa was persuaded to eat this Spanish paella.
disappoint! π₯ π½οΈ Bulla Gastrobar We started with the Montaditos π₯ Toasted baguette soaked in olive oil, topped with super tender braised beef, a hint of green chili, and tomato sauce β so tasty and not heavy at all! π₯£ The creamy onion soup is seasonal Served with two crispy baguette slices topped with lightly melted cheese π§ First time trying onion soup with cream β and it totally worked! The soup had caramelized onion strips inside β delicious! Just be careful β it comes out SUPER hot! π₯ π₯ Seafood Paella Rich, flavorful, and super aromatic β the moment it arrived, we were hooked! The squid was perfectly tender and actually tastier than the shrimp in the paella. Pro tip: squeeze plenty of lemon on top before eating π The rice was cooked just right β not underdone, with that classic Spanish paella texture. Only downside: the two big shrimp in the middle were slightly burnt and tasted a bit bitter. Still, a great experience overall. And thankfully, it wasnβt oversalted β unlike a lot of the seafood Iβve tried lately in Tampa! π¦π¦ #Tampa #TampaEats #TampaTravel #FoodieAdventure
