πΊπΈ My Baltimore Day Trip β A Mix of Culture & Caution π πΈ
Hereβs how my one-day Baltimore adventure went: β Visited Johns Hopkins University π β Explored The Baltimore Museum of Art πΌοΈ β Ate at Blue Moon Cafe π₯ β Strolled around Inner Harbor π β Saw the Last Pearl Harbor Survivor ship β β Peeked at Little Italy from afar π β Checked out Power Plant π β Stopped by the National Aquarium (just the entrance though! π) π I arrived around 10 AM and left around 4 PM. After exploring Inner Harbor, I thought since Penn Station looked straight ahead, Iβd walk there. πΆββοΈ But thenβ¦ things felt off. I heard what sounded like gunshots ππ«, followed by police sirens π¨. The further I walked, the more uneasy I felt β lots of people lingering around, and the atmosphere grew tense. While waiting at a crosswalk, a man about 5 meters away started waving both hands at me ππ³. I avoided eye contact and didnβt move until the light turned green β then I literally sprinted away ππ¨. After a few more minutes, I ducked into a bank π¦ and called a ride to the station. Later I found out that area is known to be risky β especially for tourists. π¬ Glad I stayed safe, but wowβ¦ Baltimore downtown is no joke. #Baltimore #DayTrip #Maryland #TravelSafety #UrbanAdventure #TrueStory #StayAlert #TravelTips π§³π
