🇺🇸 Near Los Angeles, USA · Weekend Getaway (Long Beach)
Hey everyone! I’ve been exploring quite a few places lately, though I haven’t been posting as often 😅. Without further ado, let me introduce one of the perfect weekend destinations just 30-40 minutes from Los Angeles! I’m sure many of you have seen the Queen Mary in movies like The X-Files, Pearl Harbor, and The Usual Suspects. This British ocean liner was purchased by the City of Long Beach in 1967 for $3.2 million and has since been transformed into a museum, hotel, and tourist attraction! What’s fascinating is that the Queen Mary is rumored to be haunted 👻. Some visitors have reported unexplained footsteps, voices, and even ghost sightings. The most “active” areas are said to be an old swimming pool, the engine room, and a certain door. But when I visited, I didn’t see or hear anything unusual — maybe because it was broad daylight and the energy was too positive? 😆 Come check it out and snap some photos — every corner is a perfect backdrop for vintage-style shots! 💰 Pricing: General admission: $45/adult (includes one random tour), $35/child. Budget hack: Early bird or late-night tickets (6:30 AM–10:00 AM or 6:00 PM–10:00 PM) are only $15/person (does not include a tour). 🅿️ Parking: Plan to spend at least 1+ hours here. All-day parking is typically $25. 📍 Location: 1126 Queens Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90802 #USA #TravelUSA #BudgetTravelUS #USATourism #LosAngeles #NearLA #LATravel #LongBeach
