🇺🇸 Near NYC | 3-Day Philadelphia Itinerary (Part 1)
🏨 Hotels Hyatt Centric Center Philadelphia 📍 1620 Chancellor St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 Relatively new and great value among same-tier options. Other recommendations: Canopy by Hilton Philadelphia For great views: W Philadelphia / The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia 🚗 Transportation We drove from Jersey City. Used the car for farther spots in Philly, but mostly walked 🚶♂️. Day 1 – May 22 (Half Day) 🦈 Adventure Aquarium Located just across the river from Philly—super convenient! The aquarium is mid-sized with fun touch exhibits. Must-sees: hippo tank, shark tunnel, and shark bridge! 🌊🐟 🍝 Via Locusta An Italian place highly rated on Google and Red, but a bit too salty for Chinese tastes 🥲. Day 2 – May 23 🥐 K’Far Another Red-recommended spot. Better than the Italian place—sesame pastries were yummy, but other dishes were just okay 🌸. 🖼️ Philadelphia Museum of Art Second floor = Impressionist heaven! Renoir: The Large Bathers Van Gogh: One of only 7 Sunflowers in the world 🌻 Picasso: Three Musicians Monet: Japanese Bridge ...and works by Manet, Pissarro, Seurat, Degas! Third floor: Asian art + Renaissance collections. Beautiful Chinese ceramics (including Ru kiln ware) and a replica of a Japanese tea room 🍵. ⚠️ Closed Tue/Wed | Ticket: $30 | Parking available 🚗 🏛️ Penn Museum (Archaeology & Anthropology) Grand lobby with a sphinx! Went straight to the Asian section—home to national treasures like two of the Six Steeds of Zhaoling: Saluzi and Quanmaogua 🇨🇳. ⚠️ Closed Mon | Ticket: $18 | Park on campus and walk 🚶 🍲 Dara Ordered Mama Keemao, Beef Stew, and Steamed Sea Bass—all just okay, nothing special 😢. #Philly #USATravel #VisitPhiladelphia #NYCTravel #PhillyFood #StudyAbroad #MuseumLovers
