Restaurant: Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord A Dutch-style buffet located in Lancaster, PA โ close to Dutch Wonderland! ๐ 2760 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird in Hand, PA 17505 They claim to serve authentic Dutch dishes. We originally wanted to try other more famous Amish buffets, but they all had wait times of around an hour ๐ฎ๐จ. This one said 20 minutes, and the online reviews were decent, so we gave it a shot. It was packed! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ Saturday lunch was $19.79 per person. But personallyโฆ I found it pretty disappointing ๐ซค. The soups tasted weird โ some were oddly sour, others were just bland. The meats were underwhelming and hard to describe. The only somewhat okay items were the sour shredded cabbage and this one dish where leaf wraps held rice and meat (looked kind of like leftovers though ๐).
