🇺🇸 Philadelphia|A Different Kind of E’Mei Experience 🥢
Used to come to E’Mei often in my student days, but not so much after graduation. This time, went with foreign friends (yep, they got the recommendation from other foreign friends 😄) and tried dishes I’d never ordered before. Overall — novel and pretty tasty! 🌟 Dan Dan Noodles – Probably the only repeat order from before. Still delicious, generous with the meat, and the sauce is on point. 🌟 Shrimp Spring Rolls – Surprisingly not oily! Haven’t had spring rolls in ages — really enjoyed them. 🌟 Singapore Noodles – My first time trying Singapore-style stir-fried rice noodles — highly recommend! Good curry flavor, plenty of shrimp and chicken, dry-fried so not greasy. Our whole table liked it. 🌟 Camphor Tea Smoked Duck – Duck was a bit oily, but flavor was nice overall. ✅ Spicy Wontons in Chili Oil – Wrapper had good chew, but the pork filling felt a bit mealy — made me a little wary. Garlic flavor was too strong for my taste. ✅ Shrimp & Vegetable Stir-fry – Classic American Chinese — not bad but quite oily. Not too sweet though (imo stillGeneral Tso’s chicken 😅). 🍴 E’Mei Restaurant 📍 915 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 💰 ~$30–50 per person #Philly #PhillyChineseFood #ExplorePhilly #PhillyLife #GlobalFoodies #ChineseCuisine
