🇺🇸 Portland | One Week Food Guide 🍽️📅

📍 Somtum Thai Kitchen Northern Thai cuisine! We ordered Pa Khao Noi (mild spice) and fried chicken wings 🍗🌶️. So flavorful and satisfying—definitely worth trying! 📍 Stammtisch Stopped by for a late afternoon snack 🍻. This place has a 4.7-star rating! The name means “regulars’ table” in German 🇩🇪. The vibe is super cozy—like stepping into a classic German pub. We tried the sausage platter with sauerkraut 🌭😋 and two beers. Their beer menu is extensive and frequently updated! 📍 Lechon A popular South American spot 🍴! revisited after three years—still absolutely delicious and consistent. Highly recommend! 📍 Afuri Izakaya Solid overall! Their chicken meatball skewers were tasty 🍢🍶, and the cocktails were refreshing and well-made. 📍 Luc Lac Vietnamese Kitchen A viral Vietnamese restaurant 🍜! The “Pho Train” is essentially a combination pho—generous on meat, and the tendons were huge and tender! Broth was rich and savory, though the noodles were a bit too soft and broke apart easily 🥢. Also enjoyed their “Luc Lac” dish and two cocktails 🍹! 📍 Tanaka Specializes in Japanese sandwiches 🥪! The pork katsu sando is a must-order—crispy outside, tender inside 🤤. 📍 FuddoYama Ramen Teriyaki & Izakaya So good!! Personally think it beats Afuri and Ryoma 🍜❤️. Preferred the Red Miso over Black Garlic. The teriyaki chicken and takoyaki from the next table smelled amazing (they’re signature dishes here!). The owner seems to be an anime fan—decor and posters give off a real izakaya vibe 🎌🍥. 📍 Deschutes Brewery You can’t visit Oregon without trying local craft beer! 🍻🌿 This state is a major hop producer with excellent water quality. Deschutes focuses on dark beers and is one of the few breweries still using whole-cone hops. Ordered a tasting tray 🍺🧀 and their popular burger 🍔, but later realized the award-winning beers must be ordered separately! Next time—heading straight to their Bend flagship for the freshest pours! ✨ #PortlandEats #Oregon #Portland #FoodDiary #FoodShare #ExplorePortland #TravelAndEat
