This stylish and contemporary hotel totally impressed us! The rooms are spacious with minimalist decor and come fully equipped with everything you need: robes, lotion, body wash, shampoo, a sewing kit, iron and ironing board, and complimentary bottled water. Our room faced the main street, but nights were surprisingly quiet. 🏊 Rooftop Oasis: The top floor features an elegant terrace, a beautiful pool, and super-comfy loungers. Best of all? Towels, sunscreen, and aftersun lotion are all provided for free! 📍 Tip: Take the service elevator on your floor and press “R” for the pool level. 📍 Perfect Location: Situated near 7th Street in the heart of downtown, you can walk to almost everything: 5 mins to Hope St Metro 5 mins to Starbucks 10 mins to Ralphs grocery 15 mins to LA Live 20 mins to Grand Central Market, The Last Bookstore, Angels Flight Railway & Little Tokyo ⚠️ Heads Up: The hotel requires a $100 per night deposit. For my 5-night stay, that totaled $500. I wasn’t aware of this in advance, and my credit card was maxed out. Though I offered to pay the deposit in cash, they don’t accept cash for this. I even tried loading a prepaid card — it didn’t work. Thankfully, the manager was incredibly understanding and still honored our reservation! 🙏 Despite this, I’d still highly recommend this hotel for its luxury feel, modern design, excellent value, and super-friendly staff. 🧻 One Small Issue: Housekeeping rarely left enough toilet paper — we had to go down to the front desk multiple times to ask for more.
