🌶️ Ronghe Sichuan Cuisine Search “Sichuan Spicy Bay” on Google Maps — so fragrant and delicious❗️ Go before 6:30 PM on weekdays or be prepared to wait. The dessert shop next door is great too! 🍲 Hengry Must-order: potatoes and fried street-style potatoes. The sour soup series tastes exactly like what I had in Yunnan — so good I signed up for their membership! 💳 🥟 Xi Bei Confirmed with the restaurant — it’s the same chain from China, with chefs brought over directly. The oat steamed buns are incredibly fragrant, and the osmanthus fermented rice yogurt is handmade — so tasty! 🦆 Hop Woo The only decent Chinese spot in West LA, IMO. I could eat their duck blood mapo tofu every day! The typhoon shelter crab is also delicious (though the roast duck is just okay). 🍚 Nature Pagoda My favorite clay pot rice in LA! Their turtle jelly is also top-notch — feels healthy and refreshing. 🌿 Ping’s Bistro My absolute treasure of a restaurant 😭 If it weren’t so far in Rowland Heights, I’d eat here every day. Every dish is fantastic, the menu is huge, and their desserts and drinks are thoughtfully made.
