πΊπΈ Road Trip Diaries | Eating & Exploring in Nashville π
Didnβt expect to spend 4 days here β took so many beautiful photos! πΈ π Broadway: Downtown bar street π We happened to be there during Independence Day celebrations β super lively! Roads were closed, parking was packed. We parked at Music City Center Parking β $25 for overnight holiday parking (usually $15 for 5 hours). First time experiencing a bar rooftop + fireworks! The energy was electric (though a bit overwhelming for introverts lol π ). Everyone sang, danced, and cheered as fireworks lit up the sky β such a powerful vibe! The souvenir shops along the street are also fun to explore β I bought a pair of boots that looked amazing in photos! π’ π John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge: Perfect for skyline views π π Country Music Hall of Fame πΈ The exhibition spans two floors (start on L3 and go down). Allow at least 2 hours! It traces the history of country music through instruments, manuscripts, stage costumes, and even interactive jukeboxes. The gift shop is on the 1st floor. π Christ Church Cathedral βͺ A Gothic Revival church downtown. We happened to visit during a service β sat quietly listening to the pastor playing guitar and the congregation singing gospel country songs. So peaceful and moving! πΆ π Instagram Murals We only went to the famous βWhat Lifts Youβ Wings β super photogenic! πΈ Biscuit Love and The Iberian Pig are nearby. On the way, we stumbled upon an abandoned railway track (great for golden hour photos π but messy and unmaintained β not worth a special trip). We parked again at Music City Center β safe, shaded, and walkable to all downtown spots! π The Parthenon ποΈ A full-scale replica of the Greek Parthenon + a beautiful park around it. π Vanderbilt University π« Known as the βHarvard of the Southβ β gorgeous campus with lush trees, squirrels πΏοΈ, and historic buildings. #USRoadTrip #LongDrive #Tennessee #Nashville #NashvilleTravel #NashvilleFood #TaylorSwift #CountryMusic #TravelUSA #SouthernVibes πΆππ
