🇺🇸 Salt Lake City|An Amazing Late-Night Bar 🍺

One of the few bars in our town open until 1 AM. Since my student days, every Friday after hanging out with friends, we’d come here for late-night snacks. I’ve witnessed several menu changes over the years—a decade ago, you could enjoy lavish dishes like lobster pasta at midnight. Later, the menu simplified to smaller bites like molten chocolate cake, but now the full food menu is back! The sister bar of the neighboring Copper Onion (my absolute favorite restaurant downtown, no competition!). Compared to Franklin, it’s more British-inspired; compared to Piper Down, it’s more refined; and compared to White Horse, it has a more cultured vibe. Copper Common truly has its own unique style. 📌 ID check required at the door 🎤 Live music performances They love using butter beans in their dishes—maybe it’s a bar food thing. Overall, the dishes are a bit salty, but perfect with drinks! 🦪 Oysters on the Half Shell You can choose between East and West Coast varieties. Beginners should try the West Coast oysters—small, deep-cupped, and sweet. East and West Coast oysters have distinct flavors due to merroir—the environmental factors shaping their taste. Warmer East Coast waters yield larger, saltier oysters, while cooler West Coast waters produce smaller, sweeter ones. 🐙 Seared Octopus A great drinking snack! Charred octopus tentacles paired with smoked chorizo, roasted tomato yogurt sauce, and their beloved butter beans. 🍲 Steamed Clams The broth is rich, combining the freshness of clams with the sweetness of cherry tomatoes 🍅, plus a hint of spicy soy sauce and sardine crunch. Absolutely delicious! Dip focaccia into it—a warm bowl late at night is just perfect. Though it does get saltier as you eat… maybe it’s designed to match the rhythm of gradual tipsiness? 🥪 Braised Pork Sandwich Solid and tasty! The bread is toasted to a perfect crisp. Chimichurri and yuzu-ginger sauce cut through the richness nicely. 🅿️ Parking is okay—plenty of street spots available. Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Average per person: $50 Copper Common 📍 111 E Broadway Suite 190, Salt Lake City, UT 84111 #SaltLakeCity #Utah #HiddenGems #LateNightEats #BarRecommendations #BarHopping #AutumnFeasts #VibeBar #NightBites #DateNightSpot
