🇺🇸 Salt Lake City | Eiko Cafe 🥢

Second visit❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️ Came back and felt a little disappointed this time 🥺 Several dishes were overly salty Even my favorite braised pork belly wasn’t as tender—it was a bit dry Is it because ski season is too busy? 😮‍💨 ————————————————————————— Original post: Despite mixed reviews, I decided to give it a try! And it turned out pretty good! 😯 My personal top 1: Braised pork belly with tofu knots. We even wanted to order another bowl after finishing it! Sweet, tender, juicy pork belly that’s not greasy at all, and the tofu knots are fully infused with flavor—a true rice killer! Other friends’ top 1: Homestyle stir-fried pork—so fragrant! Sauerkraut fish: Highly recommended! The fish is super tender and smooth! It’s more like a mix of sauerkraut fish and Sichuan boiled fish, served with rice noodles and bean sprouts—pretty unique! The sour and spicy broth with rice noodles made us finish the whole pot. It reminded me of the old CY Noodles House vibes. The portion is generous, and if you love flavors, you can ask for more numbing spice and heat! Stir-fried beef with scallions: Super tender beef—another rice killer! Chicken pot: Not bad! The chicken falls off the bone and is very flavorful! We ordered a whole table of meat dishes without a single veggie…🙄 Next time, we’ll try some greens 🤨 Heard Eiko Cafe has another branch—this time we visited the one on Redwood Rd! 📍 1234 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 #SaltLakeCity #SLC #RestaurantRecommendation #ChineseFood #Foodie #EikoCafe #ComfortFood #RiceKiller #SLCEats
