๐บ๐ธ Seattle | Treehouse Cave Mexican Restaurant
๐ฒ Discovered a charming treehouse-style hotspot at Lincoln Square in downtown Bellevue, called Cantina Monarca. This two-story restaurant makes you feel like youโre dining in a treehouse, with uniquely decorated interiors. ๐ฎ Tried two types of tacos: Baja Sea Bass: The sea bass was tender and flavorful. Pastor: Delicious chicken topped with generous onions. ๐ฆ Duck Carnitas: A roasted duck platter perfect for two, served with red bean paste, fried rice, and a stack of corn tortillas. Similar to Beijing duck, you wrap the duck and side dishes in thin tortillas. ๐ฅ Guac, Salsa & Chips: A large bowl of my favorite avocado dip, prepared Bajio-style with watermelon chunks, goat cheese, and roasted pumpkin seeds. ๐ง Chicken Tinga Tostaditas: Toasted tortillas topped with red carrots, chicken, cream, cheese, onions, and chips. The presentation was exquisite, though the flavor might take some getting used to. ๐ฒ๐ฝ Restaurant: Cantina Monarca ๐ Location: 504 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue, WA 98004 โณ Hours: 11:00 AM - 10:30 PM #BellevueFood #BellevueExploration #BellevueRestaurants #MexicanCuisine #MexicanTaco #SeattleFood #SeattleLife #SeattleSurroundings
