🇺🇸 Second Visit to Meteora | Not as Magical as Before 🍽️

Finally got together with two friends — the kind you dream about feasting with! We returned to this one-Michelin-star spot that I tried earlier this year. We noted a birthday in our reservation, but the restaurant didn’t really acknowledge it 🎂❌ They did accommodate our friend’s no-raw-food request — everything was cooked through, which was appreciated. The water was great 💧 Even though it was $22 for two bottles, I recognized it from a local Mexican restaurant — super refreshing! I asked the server where to buy it in the U.S., and he said it’s pretty hard to find but he’d check… then never came back with an answer. Dish Highlights: 🎃 Squash Blossom – Still my favorite 🐟 Fish – Pretty standard 🦆 Duck – Tasty and rich, though a bit fatty and heavy by the end 🍰 Desserts – All delicious But… the menu felt really similar to my last visit earlier this year. 🥤 Juice Pairings – Not great except for the kiwi one, which was okay. At the end, they gave us mangoes 🥭 — but only two for three people. When I asked why, they said, “That’s the portion for three.” Hmm… 🤨 Maybe one visit to this Michelin spot is enough. #MeteoraLA #MichelinDining #LAEats #HonestReview #FineDining
