We visited Sofitel drawn by the bar and live music—but got a strict reality check. Even with parents present, under-21s are not allowed inside the bar—no exceptions. 🚫🎵 The staff politely explained, “Besides music, there might be adult performances like striptease,” and kindly redirected us to their more casual, college-cafeteria-style restaurant. We thanked them and moved along. On the second floor, we met a chatty housekeeping staff member who shared that the floor had just been renovated. While it looked fresh, the sofas and armchairs felt oddly piled up—more like a crowded salon than a luxury hotel, creating visual clutter rather than comfort. 🛋️🌀 Sofitel is a French luxury hotel brand, and this Beverly Hills location is positioned as an urban resort. Its Riviera 31 Lounge & Bar is the heart of the nightlife—hosting jazz, salsa nights, and live performances.
