Just spent a perfect Saturday in Richmond — only a 1.5-hour drive from Arlington! Easy to do as a day trip 🚗💨. ➊ 🍖 ZZQ Texas Barbecue No reservations — waited about 20-30 mins in line. Meat is sold first-come, first-served! We ordered: Beef Brisket Beef Ribs Pork Shoulder The beef was absolutely incredible — melt-in-your-mouth tender, probably the best I’ve had on the East Coast! 😋🔥 ➋ 🖼️ Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) Free entry (!), with beautiful Chinese, Japanese, and Korean galleries. So many impressive pieces — definitely worth the visit 🎎🏺. ➌ 🌸 Maymont Park Stunning Japanese and Italian gardens — incredibly well-maintained and photogenic 📸.
