🇺🇸 Tampa｜Your Ultimate Guide to Eating, Playing

Tampa’s attractions are pretty spread out, so relying solely on Ubers isn’t ideal — we ended up renting a car! 🚗 🚣 Silver Springs State Park Located near Orlando, we joined the Get Up and Go Kayaking tour — small groups of 4 kayaks with a guide 🛶 They help you spot manatees 🦭 and even alligators! Our guide even dunked his phone underwater to film a manatee for us 😍 If you want a clear kayak — book this tour! Theirs are transparent; the ones rented inside the park are not. P.S. Photos don’t do the springs justice — the water is unbelievably blue 💙 🎪 Ringling Museum Two ticket types: Museum Admission (art + circus museums + gardens) Museum + Ca’ d‘Zan (adds a tour of the Ringling mansion’s first floor) The best photo spots are in the art museum’s long corridor and courtyard 📸 The mansion tour is skippable if you’re short on time. 🤿 Three Sisters Springs — Snorkeling with Manatees We booked with Fun2Dive — a small group snorkeling tour with super patient guides 🫶 I can swim but was really nervous — our guide noticed and even pulled me along when I got tired 🥹 ⚠️ Note: Touching manatees is illegal. Keep your distance and admire them quietly. 🏰 Animal Kingdom in Orlando We had an extra day, so we drove to Orlando! The park isn’t huge — easy to do round-trip + all rides in one day 🦁 Might write a separate post on this later! 🍽️ Food & Drinks Columbia Restaurant (Ybor City): Overhyped 😬 Food was okay, sangria wasn’t great. Ybor City can feel sketchy at night — we got approached by sketchy people on our way there. Be cautious!
