πΊπΈ Tampa 3-Day 2-Night Travel Guide
Actually, it was 4 days and 3 nights, but we arrived in Tampa very late on Friday and went straight to sleep β so it doesnβt really count π΄ π¨ Tampa Marriott Water Street About 20 mins from the airport, located oceanfront. Around $300+ per night. Day 1οΈβ£ βοΈ Weeki Wachee Springs State Park Booked a 10 am kayaking session πΆ. Took just over an hour by car. The route is over 3 miles long and takes about 2 hours. The water is crystal clear but pretty winding β easy to bump into trees if youβre not paying attention π Pro tip: Apply sunscreen and bug spray beforehand! The life vests are a bit worn. π Busch Gardens Not what the name suggests β itβs actually a theme park π’! Lots of roller coasters. Some animals werenβt out because of the heat, but the safari train π was fun. π½οΈ Oystercatcher A beautiful waterfront restaurant with sunset views π . Food was delicious β around $100 per person. Day 2οΈβ£ Slept in after the packed day before π΄ πͺ Ringling Museum About an hour from Tampa. Includes several museums and a grand mansion β mostly good for photos πΈ. ποΈ St. Armand Circle Very American-style, not great for shopping. Limited souvenir options. π¦ Walt's Fish Market Restaurant Lives up to the hype! Super fresh and tasty π€. Order the seafood pot (note: no stone crab currently). ποΈ Siesta Beach About 30 mins south of Ringling. Voted one of the best beaches in the US! The white sand is incredibly soft β even better than California or Hawaii ποΈ. No wonder itβs a top-ranked beach worldwide. Popular among retired folks for a reason π Day 3οΈβ£ π¬ Little Toot Dolphin Adventure A must-do! Book the 11 am tour β less sun and better dolphin sightings π¬ We were lucky and saw three groups, including parents with a baby dolphin π π¦ SeaGuini A fancy restaurant inside a resort β one of Tampaβs best π½οΈ. Really good food! ποΈ Clearwater Beach Spent the afternoon chilling on another gorgeous white-sand beach ποΈ. So relaxing. π Overall, Tampa is perfect for a long weekend β great for laid-back vibes and beach time. Total cost per person was around $1.5k (flights, hotel, transport, food β no shopping). #LongWeekend #NYWeekend #BeachGetaway #Relaxation #Vacation #USATravel #Tampa
