Actually, it was 4 days and 3 nights, but we arrived in Tampa very late on Friday and went straight to sleep โ€” so it doesnโ€™t really count ๐Ÿ˜ด ๐Ÿจ Tampa Marriott Water Street About 20 mins from the airport, located oceanfront. Around $300+ per night. Day 1๏ธโƒฃ โ˜€๏ธ Weeki Wachee Springs State Park Booked a 10 am kayaking session ๐Ÿ›ถ. Took just over an hour by car. The route is over 3 miles long and takes about 2 hours. The water is crystal clear but pretty winding โ€” easy to bump into trees if youโ€™re not paying attention ๐Ÿ˜‚ Pro tip: Apply sunscreen and bug spray beforehand! The life vests are a bit worn. ๐Ÿ’ Busch Gardens Not what the name suggests โ€” itโ€™s actually a theme park ๐ŸŽข! Lots of roller coasters. Some animals werenโ€™t out because of the heat, but the safari train ๐Ÿšž was fun. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Oystercatcher A beautiful waterfront restaurant with sunset views ๐ŸŒ…. Food was delicious โ€” around $100 per person. Day 2๏ธโƒฃ Slept in after the packed day before ๐Ÿ˜ด ๐ŸŽช Ringling Museum About an hour from Tampa. Includes several museums and a grand mansion โ€” mostly good for photos ๐Ÿ“ธ. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ St. Armand Circle Very American-style, not great for shopping. Limited souvenir options. ๐Ÿฆ€ Walt's Fish Market Restaurant Lives up to the hype! Super fresh and tasty ๐Ÿค. Order the seafood pot (note: no stone crab currently). ๐Ÿ–๏ธ Siesta Beach About 30 mins south of Ringling. Voted one of the best beaches in the US! The white sand is incredibly soft โ€” even better than California or Hawaii ๐Ÿ๏ธ. No wonder itโ€™s a top-ranked beach worldwide. Popular among retired folks for a reason ๐Ÿ˜‰ Day 3๏ธโƒฃ ๐Ÿฌ Little Toot Dolphin Adventure A must-do! Book the 11 am tour โ€” less sun and better dolphin sightings ๐Ÿฌ We were lucky and saw three groups, including parents with a baby dolphin ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿฆž SeaGuini A fancy restaurant inside a resort โ€” one of Tampaโ€™s best ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ. Really good food! ๐Ÿ๏ธ Clearwater Beach Spent the afternoon chilling on another gorgeous white-sand beach ๐Ÿ–๏ธ. So relaxing. ๐ŸŒŸ Overall, Tampa is perfect for a long weekend โ€” great for laid-back vibes and beach time.
