πΊπΈ Tampa Food Diary Pt.2
Tried three popular spots near downtown β 1 π, 1 π, 1 β οΈ π½οΈ Oxford Exchange π΅ $100 for 3 people A hyped brunch spot on Xiaohongshu β overall just okay, nothing special. π³ Food: French Toast: Loved it! Strong cinnamon flavor πβ¨ + Florida strawberries are sweet π Steak Sandwich: A bit salty Omelet: Standard, but potatoes were good π₯€ Drinks: Iced tea = flavorless, coffee = weak, juice = straight from the bottle π§β¦ skip these if you can. πΏ Vibe: Gorgeous interior with a bar, bookstore, and boutique (a bit pricey but aesthetic). A bit noisy, but nice for a casual brunch. π½οΈ Ulele Stopped by right before heading home. π¦ͺ Food: Not super hungry, so we got a dozen oysters ($3.75 each). They looked big butβ¦ not clean π£ Gritty, questionable freshness, and some tasted off (not in a sea-breeze way). Both my friend and I had stomach issues after β and we usually have iron stomachs! β οΈ π³ Vibe: Beautiful restaurant by a riverwalk that feels like being back in China ποΈ. Perfect for a stroll. Maybe try other dishes if you go for the ambiance. π½οΈ Aji Limo π΅ $140 for 3 people Delicious and pretty β menu was confusing but worth it! π¦ Food: Grilled Octopus: Tender, saucy, BEST dish β must-order! Mystery Fried Rice: Tasted like paella + cilantro πΏ, not soggy, packed with fresh seafood. We think the chef is Asian β only an Asian hand could make this! Ceviche Mixed Seafood: SO fresh! Super tangy π β raw mussels & fish, cooked shrimp & squid. Refreshing and highly recommended! Pesto Steak Pasta: Only miss πβ¦ bland pasta, steak ordered medium came well-done. Maybe stick to Asian dishes here. π Vibe: Chill and photogenic β great afternoon lighting for photos πΈ! Sweet Spanish-speaking waitress too. #TampaEats #FoodReview #AjiLimo #Ulele #OxfordExchange #BrunchLover #SeafoodDiary #TravelFoodie
