🇺🇸 Tampa Local’s Bakery Recommendation Was SPOT ON! 🎯

🔍 State Flour Bakery 📍 5224 S Dale Mabry Hwy Unit A, Tampa, FL 33611 After asking for local bakery/cafe recommendations, I bookmarked Daycation and State Flour — and they did NOT disappoint! Once again, thank you internet for coming through 🙌✨ Though small, this bakery had a steady stream of customers 🥐. (Would be perfect if they served coffee too!) Out of the four items I tried, only the pistachio croissant was a letdown — everything else was delicious! Here’s my totally subjective ranking: 1️⃣ Cuban Bun - Buttery, soft, slightly sweet ☀️ 2️⃣ Bacon Scone - Savory, flaky, packed with flavor 🥓 3️⃣ Guava Pastry - Fruity, fresh, not too sweet 🍃 4️⃣ Pistachio Croissant - Why is American pistachio always a gamble? 😩 (Shoutout to my friend’s homemade pistachio cake — it smelled amazing! If it weren’t a prop for my 30th birthday photos, I would’ve devoured it immediately 🎂😂.) We ended up going to Starbucks for coffee (wasn’t sure if other cafes allowed outside food) — a little bitterness to balance all that sweetness ☕🍰. A happy morning indeed! 📖 Side Story: I’d already decided to revisit Daycation soon… but then my flight got cancelled last-minute ✈️❌. After security, waiting, delays… they just said “not today.” 🙃 So I changed plans, grabbed coffee, and drove to Daycation under a cloudy sky ☁️.
