🇺🇸 Thai Food with a Western Vibe – Open Only 5 Hours a Day!

📍 Anajak Thai Cuisine The whole setting feels like a modern Western restaurant, but with Thai-style tablecloths — kind of a fun clash ✨ There’s often a line outside, super popular with locals! You can tell they have a big staff, but they only open 4 PM – 9 PM (5 hours a day, closed Mondays). 🐟 Crudo (Raw Fish) – Incredibly fresh! The sauce has so many spices, yet doesn’t overpower the fish — a perfect match! 🎯 Pro tip: Save this sauce — it pairs magically with other dishes too! 🍛 Panang Curry – Really flavorful and perfect with rice… But $28 and rice isn’t included 😅 Both curry and rice come in small portions… Tried mixing the curry with the leftover Crudo sauce — surprisingly delicious! 🍜 Pad See Ew – Wok-fried just right, sauce evenly coated — tasty! But again… portion’s on the small side. Maybe they’re going for that fine-dining vibe with the serving sizes 😉 🐖 BBQ Pork Neck (Most Expensive Dish) – A letdown… Over-charred, slightly bitter — and the purple cabbage underneath was super bitter (probably not stored well). Pork ended up bitter on bitter 😔 Fix? Paired it with the Crudo sauce — miraculously balanced out the bitterness! That sauce really is the MVP 🏆 Overall, the flavors are pretty good (except the pork mishap). But if you're looking to catch up and chat with friends — not recommended! Open kitchen + loud music + small crowded space = VERY NOISY 🗣️🔊 Even heard the girls next to us shouting to hear each other… #LifeInUSA #ThaiFood #LAFoodFinds #LosAngelesEats #SFV #LAThaiFood #HiddenGem 🍽️🌶️
