๐บ๐ธ Unlocking Louisville's REAL Must-Try Restaurant ๐๏ธ๐
Iโve been to Louisville three times, and finally found the spot worth raving about! 1st visit: Tried The Eagle ๐ โ unique but overly salty and just okay. 2nd visit: Went to Claudia Sanders Dinner House (KFC Colonelโs original spot) ๐ด โ buffet style, but even the original recipe chicken didnโt wow us. We decided not to return. 3rd timeโs the charm: Did deep research on Xiaohongshu, Google, and Mapsโฆ and found Hammerheads โ hidden in a residential area but absolutely incredible! ๐คฉ ๐ Location: Close to downtown but tucked quietly into a neighborhood. ๐ฆ Decor: Two giant shark statues out front โ you canโt miss it! ๐ฆ๐ฆ The interior is super cool โ I meant to take photos but was too busy eating (then forgot ๐ ). ๐ฝ๏ธ Ambience: Itโs a bar + restaurant, so it can get loud, but itโs clean and spacious. Seating inside and outside! ๐ Service: Everyone was genuinely warm and energetic โ great vibes! ๐ What We Ordered: ๐ง Mac & Cheese Balls Crispy outside, gooey mac and cheese insideโฆ a must-order for cheese lovers! ๐ ๐ฆ Duck Sandwich Smoky, slightly spicy, tender pulled duck โ reminds me of Buckeeโs pork sandwich but better! Highly recommend. ๐ฆ ELK Burger Their signature โ juicy patty, well-seasoned. Not a burger person myself, but my partner enjoyed it. ๐ Lamb Ribs We got half rack โ fall-off-the-bone tender! Light gaminess balanced with rich meat andๅฅถ้ฆ. Perfect with their dark BBQ-ish sauce. ๐ Grippo Fries: UPGRADE TO DUCK FAT FRIES FOR +$3 โ SO WORTH IT! Sweet, spicy, crispy, with a seasoning that tastes just like Chinese plum powder + chili โ addictive! We finished the whole basket. ๐ต Price: Around $35 per person. A sandwich alone (+tax/tip ~$20) can fill you up! ๐ Address: 921 Swan St, Louisville, KY 40204 Donโt make our same mistakes โ skip the tourist traps and head straight to Hammerheads! ๐ฅ #LouisvilleEats #FoodGuide #SushiLover #SichuanFood
