🇺🇸 US Road Trip|A Full Day at Universal Studios Hollywood! 🎢

A 10-day, 8-night self-drive adventure across America with four best friends! 💸 Splitting costs evenly, it came out to about 17,000 RMB per person (not including a little shopping hehe). 📍 Los Angeles lies at a similar latitude to Shanghai, and the weather felt pretty comparable too! 🌞 Driving in the US was surprisingly smooth – the steering wheel is on the same side as we're used to, so it felt natural right away! 🚗💨 Renting a car cost around 300 RMB per day. We flew in and out of LA, with a direct flight from Shanghai taking about 13 hours. ✈️ Writing this travelogue isn’t just to give you all some tips – it’s also my way of reliving those amazing memories! 📖✨ What’s your favorite way to remember your trips? Do you keep a travel journal or scrapbook? Share your ideas below! 👇 🎫 Universal Studios Tickets: Buy your tickets in advance from the official website or a trusted platform! We recommend the General Admission or the Express Pass (which saves waiting time but is pricier). The park usually opens between 8:00-9:00 AM. Parking was easy and convenient! 🅿️ 🗺️ Recommended Route: Hit the popular rides first, then schedule shows and breaks during off-peak hours! Focus on the core attractions: ➡️ Jurassic World—The Ride: Dino-themed water adventure – you might get wet! 💦(Bring a raincoat!) ➡️ Revenge of the Mummy: A thrilling indoor roller coaster in the dark! 😱 ➡️ Transformers: The Ride-3D: An immersive battle experience – feel the action! 🤖 ➡️ Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: A 4D Quidditch flight – a must for Potterheads! ⚡🧹 Butterbeer at the Hopping Pot is a can’t-miss! 🍻 ➡️ Must-See Show: WaterWorld Stunt Show 💧 – arrive 20 mins early for good seats (front rows may get splashed!). No exaggeration – some of the facilities are showing a bit of age, but the magic is still totally there! 😄🎬 What’s the most memorable theme park ride you’ve ever been on? Let me know! 💭 🍽️ Dinner after Universal: We drove about 10 km to the legendary 🏆 Lawry's The Prime Rib 📍 100 N La Cienega Blvd, Beverly Hills This iconic steakhouse, founded in 1938, specializes in slow-roasted prime rib! 🥩 💡 Tip: Make a reservation ahead – our meal averaged about $100 per person. #HarryPotter #UniversalStudios #UniversalOrlando #Storytelling #TravelTheWorld #USRoadTrip #LosAngeles #UniversalStudiosHollywood #Steakhouse #JurassicWorld #MummyRide #Transformers #Butterbeer #WaterWorld #ThemePark #TravelUSA #RoadTripGoals #SoloTravel #GroupTravel #LAEats #HollywoodAdventures #TravelDiaries
