🇺🇸 Vanderbilt University: The "Harvard of the South"! 🎓✨
Finally visited my bestie after 3 long years (thanks, COVID 😭)! We spent the weekend exploring Vanderbilt’s campus and Nashville—here’s my take: 🏫 Campus Vibes: Stunning Autumn Views 🍂 – The historic campus felt both grand and cozy, with a strong academic atmosphere. Lots of Asian students too—no need to feel lonely! Open Layout 🚶♀️ – Spread across city blocks, with the massive medical school standing out like its own hospital (so impressive!). Peabody College 👩🏫 – As an education major, I loved the iconic white buildings! ❌ Avoid: The cafeteria near Peabody—possibly the worst college food I’ve ever tried 😅 🌆 Nashville Downtown Recs: 5th Avenue 🛍️ – Great shopping and movie theaters, like Beijing’s Wangfujing! Broadway Bar Strip 🍻 – Lively but chaotic! Go with friends—it’s rowdy at night. 12 Shabu-Shabu 🍲 – $27/person for ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT! Spicy broth, unlimited beef, fresh crawfish, basa fish, shellfish, tripe, and more… plus amazing Thai bubble tea! 🧋 ⚠️ Super popular—go early to avoid lines! 🎵 Why Nashville? As the birthplace of country music and Taylor Swift’s hometown, the city pulses with energy! 🎶🤠 #Vanderbilt #Nashville #StudyInUSA #TravelUSA #CampusLife #Foodie #SouthernVibes 🎸📚
