After trying Vegas’s #1 steakhouse, it was time to check out Pasadena’s finest in Los Angeles! USA Trip — Day 10 Spent the afternoon exploring Beverly Hills, then took an Uber (1.5 hours, $104) to Alexander’s Steakhouse in downtown Pasadena. With LA feeling chaotic lately, both Beverly Hills and Pasadena stood out as pleasant, safe spots 🌆✨ Reserved two days ahead — no issues. The City Hall next to the restaurant is stunning! 🍞 Bread Service: Three types of bread + three kinds of butter — delicious start! 🧀 Starter: Some kind of cheese puff — decent. 🐟 Appetizer: Hamachi — okay, nothing special. 🥩 Main Course: Porterhouse steak ($169) — tasty but a bit under-seasoned for my taste. Asked for salt & pepper, which helped! 🍚 Sides: Fried rice — good; 🥦 “KFC” cauliflower — tasted like sweet & sour pork, didn’t realize it was cauliflower at first 😄 🍮 Dessert: Soufflé — nice! 🍭 Bonus: The restaurant gave us a cotton candy stick — cute for photos but way too sweet! 📍 Alexander’s Steakhouse 111 N Los Robles Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101 Next stop: Flying to New York on 10/9 — already booked a steakhouse there.
