🇺🇸 Where to Go This Weekend? Let’s Go to Cincinnati for the Matches!

(Fig. 1: The World’s Second Most Famous Naked Man – and who’s the first? It’s you, handsome! 😉) Cincinnati is named after the Roman Republic noble leader Cincinnatus – which literally means "curly-haired leader" 💁‍♂️🍥. Located at the intersection of three states (Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana), it’s also the host city of the ATP 1000, one of tennis’s top tournaments! Day 1 William Howard Taft National Historic Site 🏛️ Visited President Taft’s former residence. Not a ton to see, but the illustrations showing his transformation were interesting! Graeter’s Ice Cream 🍨 A famous German-family dessert shop! Tried the hot brownie sundae – chocolate blackberry flavor, warm below and cool on top. Perfect sweetness, highly recommend! The Eagle 🍗 Southern fried chicken done RIGHT – crispy, flavorful skin and juicy meat, served with spicy honey sauce. Only $10 for three pieces. Even Californians are drooling over this! 😋 Skyline Chili 🌭 Cincinnati’s answer to In-N-Out! This local chain is called “chili” but has zero spicy peppers 😅. I got their calorie-bomb cheese meat sauce pasta – delicious, though more meat would’ve been better! Unexpected Fireworks 🎇 Caught a beautiful moonlit night and a financial company setting off fireworks! Day 2 Chaykhana N1 Uzbek Cuisine 🍖 In what seems like a Central Asian neighborhood. Their beef stew rice, tomato-braised beef, and grilled meat platter were generous and tasty. The chicken skewers were incredibly tender! Note: Their "naan" is more like bread, not the Xinjiang style. Hofbräuhaus 🍻 A 400+ year-old German beer hall chain – and they have a branch in Cincinnati! Giant pork knuckle with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, sausage platter with potato salad, plus a refreshing wheat beer. The vibe was buzzing and fun! 🥳 John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge 🌉 The world’s longest suspension bridge before Brooklyn Bridge. All-metal structure, riverside views, and the third-largest river in the U.S. Felt like the “Pro Max version of Tianjin’s Liberation Bridge”! 🌊 Day 3 Mission BBQ 🍖 A BBQ chain run by veterans – great prices, great taste, and no tipping required! Tru industry “Commander: This is your final mission – GRILL!” 🫡🔥 📌 “If you knew you couldn’t play tomorrow, how hard would you play today?” ⏳ Dedication transcends time. Passion lives in every moment. #Tennis #Cincinnati #Travel #Foodie #InternationalCuisine #Alcaraz #USATrip
