If you're looking for winter fun off the slopes, head to Antelope Island State Park β a peaceful island on the Great Salt Lake, just north of the city. For those who truly love big mountain skiing, Snowbird is legendary. Not only does it offer long, steep runs and incredibly varied terrain, but the views from the summit are absolutely breathtaking β especially on a bluebird day in the back bowls.
