๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ Himuro Shrine ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ

Himuro Shrine is a subsidiary shrine of Kasuga Shrine. It originates from the Ice Pond located in Kasugano, ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ which freezes in the severe cold and is known as the Ice Room. The ice accumulated here is stored until the following year, ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ establishing a system of presenting ice to Heian-kyล from April 1st to September 30th each year. โ„๏ธ The main deities enshrined here are Tลke Inazuchi ลŒyamanokami, ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ ลŒtลri ลŒkami, and Nukata no ลŒnakatomi no Mikoto. Additionally, in the 13th century, it became one of the three music establishments in Japan, ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ known as the Nanto Gagaku-jo, growing into a major stronghold for Nara dance and music. The role of shrine priests also began to be taken over by musicians. ๐ŸŽต ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ #HimuroShrine #KasugaShrine #JapaneseShrines #TraditionalMusic ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ
