🍝 Ultimate Pasta Review in Rome 🇮🇹

My sis did all you pasta lovers a favor by trying out many different pasta restaurants in Rome! When in Rome, do what the Romans do, right? And for me, that's eating a ton of pasta. Let's dive right into it! 🍽️🏟 Additional tips for those who are planning to go to Rome at the end, too! Trattoria Cecio 7.5/10 for pasta. I took a very safe choice of Vongole here - clams are very fresh! Pasta was well cooked as it should be in Italy, and I think it's worth it. Authentic tradition Italian vibes. 🇮🇹🍝 Near main train station. Great service from waiters. 👨‍🍳 Quite crowded; you'd need a reservation. I got lucky when I arrived just before peak dinner time! Can get quite noisy inside because it's so crowded. 🗣️ The Vino This is the place to go for your pasta fix after touring the Colosseum! I had handmade pasta, honestly so much better than the "instant" ones! But the Cacio e Pepe was slightly too cheesy for me, but I have a weak tolerance for cheese, haha. 🧀 Very near Colosseum. 🏟️ Awesome handmade fresh pastas. 🍝 Osteria Da Fortunata This was totally worth the hype and slightly pricey! You can even see the ladies making fresh pasta right in front of your eyes. 👀 10/10. 100% fresh. Near city center. Can't make reservations; during peak meal times, you might have to queue. 🚶‍♂️ Taverna Italiana I loved the vibes here, but the pasta was kinda mid. Their other dishes and tiramisu were pretty good, though! Not much to shout out, but it's also near the train station, so if you need some authentic Italian food before catching your train, this is the place! 🚂🍝 Awesome vibes. Tiramisu to die for. 🍰 Near main train station. Suppli Roma If I could, I would give 10 stars! Ok, I know it's not really pasta, but it's like you have pasta filling inside a puff!! And it's AMAZING and super cheap, like €2 only?!?! I got the squid ink, carbonara, and bolognese. chefs kiss 🤤 Dirt cheap. Damn good. 11/10 if I could. Near Trastevere street. Have to queue because it's quite popular! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Here's my tips if you're heading to Rome: Always get the fresh, homemade pastas! They are so much better than non-fresh ones! 👩‍🍳 Italians usually take pasta as a Primi (first mains, I guess?), but they won't judge you if you don't take anything else! 🍽️ That's it!
