🌵 2-Day Visit to El Paso: Boots, Views & Cactus Woes 🤠

Sharing a quick recap of my short but memorable trip to El Paso — hope it helps if you’re planning a visit! *(EN version below & in 🫶)* Known as the birthplace of cowboy boots, El Paso got me super excited before I arrived… until I remembered it’s a desert 🏜️. My dogs refused to pee on the rocky, sandy ground — mission one: find a park! We did find a big one 🎉… but then my pups started limping 😱. Turns out, tiny thorny burrs were stuck deep in their paws 🌵🐾. So heartbreaking! Even other grassy spots had them — so a heads-up for pet owners! Now, the boot shopping was LEGIT! Didn’t even need to search — just followed the signs 👢: 1️⃣ TONY LAMA Boots Factory Outlet Came across two stores. This one had TONY LAMA + Justin Boots. Lots of options, but mostly older styles — you’ll have to dig! 2️⃣ COWTOWN Boots A massive warehouse full of boots! Amazing vintage and Mexican-style designs. Again… be ready to hunt 🕵️‍♀️. 3️⃣ Starr Western Wear More of a workwear spot — Carhartt, LEVIS, etc. Boots were mainly ARIAT. 4️⃣ Lucchese Factory Store Unexpected gem 💎! Huge factory store with discounts, but still pricey (well, it’s Lucchese). I browsed forever but left empty-handed… my wallet said no 😅 Also did some quick city walking 🚶‍♀️: El Paso Museum of Art: small, spent like 10 mins there 🖼️ (maybe I just lack the art gene lol). Parking: $12 💸 Scenic Drive: Totally worth it — stunning views over El Paso, Ciudad Juárez (Mexico), and the Rio Grande 🌎🧊 — but super windy! Bundle up 🧣 Food-wise, sadly missed out on Mexican eats — had the pups with me so mostly ate in the car 🚗🍔. One good meal: Texas Roadhouse’s bone-in ribeye — so good! 🥩 (Even though I had it takeout in a park, lol) Overall, loved El Paso — except for the spiky grass situation 😬 #Cowboy #TravelDiaries #ElPaso #TravelWithDogs #USATravel #LifeInStyle #DogLife #DailyVibes #DesertAdventure
